
Kenneth Bodley, age 85 of DeWitt and Boca Raton, FL died peacefully after a brief illness at Crouse Hospital with his loving family by his side.
Born in Cuyahoga Falls, OH, he was a graduate of Sharon Center High School and attended Akron University. He was CEO of K. Bodley Associates, Inc., a manufacturers' representative company he started in 1968. Prior to starting his own company, he worked 25 years for The Permold Co. in Medina, OH as a Sales Engineer. In addition, he served in the Army Air Corp during WWII as a pilot and flight instructor.
Ken was Past President of Nottingham Knolls CC, a 32nd Degree Mason, a member of the Tigris Shrine and Jesters, a charter member of the Sunrise Rotary Club of DeWitt and a Paul Harris Fellow. He was a member of DeWitt Community Church since 1954. He enjoyed spending time with his family in DeWitt and Florida along with his hobbies of golf, gardening and reading.
He leaves behind his wife of 62 years, Margie; two sons, Stephen (Wendy) of Brownsville, VT and Kenneth (Mary Ann) of Fayetteville; a daughter, Wendy Duchaney (Larry) of DeWitt; two grandchildren, Corin and Ian; a brother, Arthur of Fairlawn, OH; several nieces and nephews, and two loving pets.
